CWE was founded in 2008 by Layla Forgiarini and Ed Bouchard, both long-time and active members of the music scene. Initially, CWE was focusing exclusively on country music, demand for other music genre artists, however, let CWE expand its genre range. The company works with an extensive net of professionals spanning two continents.

For many years, Layla has been involved in running the Country Music Club of Italy in her region, promoting country music thru dancing and live country music events with local and European artists. In addition, she has been hosting country music radio shows on three stations in Northern Italy and was a partner in Country Power Station, the only Italian web radio exclusively dedicated to country music. She has also been in charge of A&R for a major Italian Country Music Festival. Layla is also very active in the dance scene, as managing director of the popular International Italian Country & Western Dance Championship. At CWE, Layla is responsible for artist relations and event logistics.
