Marcus Eaton
He plays acoustic, but not like you might expect. He rapidly shifts between frantic fingerpicking and strumming, clean acoustic sounds and swirling, looped effects. His music is viewing genre distinctions not as absolutes but as starting points.
This has led Marcus to where he is today, mixing seemingly disparate sounds – rock, pop, reggae, jazz, flamenco, and folk – into a cohesive whole. Marcus has worked with David Crosby of Crosby, Stills, Nash on their new album and has recently toured with David Crosby.
More recently, he developed a preference to play solo, incorporating a variety of influences to create a unique sonic landscape using looping, instrumental effects and different performance styles.
